A Glimpse Into the Churches

I thought it was about time I got some more pictures in of the different church services. In order to make the collage of pictures larger, click on the image and it should open in a new box.

Enjoy!

We´ve been to many different churches of various sizes, house meetings included, but the common denominator is the awesome way God touches the lives of the people.

Of course, we have some great times on Sundays with the children. I know the kids really enjoy it when they have special speakers like their American friends.

Good-bye, Cati

One of our furry friends at the Foundation died the other night, leaving 23 very sad children.

Bring On The Iowa Chow!!!

Sunday, November 16, I had the opportunity to cook a meal for the children after church. It was a classic Iowan dinner... ham, mashed potatoes with melted butter, carrot-raisin salad, and red jello with bananas for dessert. Oh my, was it good! (If I do say so myself!!!)

My assistants... Alexandra y Leidi

Melanie and Manuel really wanted to sample!!!

Digging in...

¡Qué rico! Juan loved it!

Smiles all around. That´s a good meal in my book!!!
